A critical aspect of Buildher’s model is developing and maintaining long-term partnerships with employers in the construction industry. Building this network is critical to ensuring the successful transition of Buildher trainees into paid employment.

APPROACH

Training

Buildher women undergo a rigorous 12-month skills training program including a workshop component and paid employment placement.

Employment

Buildher women secure accredited construction jobs, earning a dignified income 5 months after joining the Buildher program.

Transformation

Buildher works with employers to enact policies and protections to safely integrate women into employment.

Social & Family Support

Buildher provides holistic programs to enable positive health, education and employment outcomes for Buildher women and their families.

Buildher is developing artisans at a higher skill level in a shorter period of time. Buildher trainees are able to surpass entry level industry standards, contribute to higher quality, productivity, and increased efficiencies.
